Great service, great food and a nostalgic atmosphere. Best kept breakfast place in Kent easthill. We used to go to Maggie’s and after they changed ownership, we found this place.
This place is so freaking good! I can’t stress it enough that I’d rather prefer mom and pops establishments for fine food rather than taking myself to go spend my money on big corporate restaurants businesses. IHOP or Dennys got nothing on this place lol The service is always top notch, The server is very respectful and kind and will be there 100% for your needs. The food is spectacular. My go to is the country fried steak with sunny side up eggs. I know I know ! It’s cliche but it’s delicious. If you are in the Kent area and are looking for breakfast and the style of homemade and see IHOP, just trust me and go down the block and hit up Mary’s Fine Food instead and you will not regret it and thank me later.
Oh my gracious, what an amazing experience! From the moment we sat down it felt like we were regulars. Everything was so fresh and amazing. My absolute favorite was the biscuits and gravy. Pancakes were STELLAR. Wish we lived closer to enjoy this gem more often. Thank you for working so hard to make such a special place ❤️
True diamond in rough. I wasn’t so sure when I first arrived at the parking since the area seems a bit run down. But I understood as soon as I walked in. It is a friendly, cozy little fine dinner. Waitress is super friendly. Mary waved hi even though she came out just to chat with waitress. Coffee came fast and my cup never goes empty. Food was great. Thank you, Mary’s Fine foods for good experience.
Hands down a great spot for several reasons! First thing I noticed was the friendly service, extremely clean environment (literally spotless), CRISPY hash browns, delicious coffee that kept coming! The pancakes are seriously so tasty! Cute, local diner vibes with unique decor! It was the family portraits for me! 😂 We are new to the area and we will definitely be back as regulars!
They are known for their chicken fried steak and gravy, everything made inhouse! Nice small cafe feeling, very friendly service. The food was really good - I'm going to go back to check out their lunch.
This business has been here for almost my whole life. I haven't been there in a long time but I'm going to leave a review before I head in today because I can still remember how it felt. It is simple yet delicious and I think that's what makes it feel at home. Not too pricey and the people there are lovely 😁
Great diner. Nothing fancy or pretentious, which was just what we were after. We went on a Monday at about 9am, and it was not too busy. Service was great, place was clean, food was good and priced right. My buddy loved the chicken fried steak and I loved the waffle (hot, homemade, and with just the right amount of crisp).
This is by far the homiest dine in restaurants in town! I love love love their waffles. crispy yet soft and never soggy. The service is always superb, and the atmosphere is one you'd find at a Sunday breakfast. I will always recommend this place even though prices are not Denny's and Ihop. The food is better; you support local and you don't regret spending your hard-earned money. I'm thinking about the next time I go there right now. HA :)
Was here with a friend for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Felt very welcome by the staff, they made us feel like family. We had the chicken fried steak and Eggs Benedict. Everything tasted heavenly! The food is definitely made with a lot of love, almost like mom’s cooking! The chef also greeted us personally and we felt very touched. Highly recommended for a nice outing with friends and family!
